enjoying life vs. lazy?
"...Cheer up Zion! Don't be afraid! For the LORD your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will exault over you by singing a happy song."- Zephaniah 3:16-17
i think that's one of my favourite verses. i love thinking of Jesus up there laughing at me and getting excited over the things that i do. come to think of it all the verses i love are about Jesus laughing and having a good time and just simply enjoying life.
somtimes i think i laugh too much and never work. every job i've had, i pretty much loved and all the classes i've taken, minus any science ones in university, i love. i never feel like i work at all. i guess choosing a life that you like isn't bad.
i'm also trying to figure out the balance between allowing yourself to have fun and not causing others to stumble and protecting your ministry. it's hard. any thoughts?
