Disturbed

lately i've been starting to see this world from new eyes. i watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith yesterday and hated it with such a passion. How is it funny that they KILL ppl for a living!!! i have enough trouble seeing ppl die in a movie nevermind it being comical. is it some sort of dark humor that i just don't get or is it that as a society we are this desensitized???

then came their "romantic relationship", oh dear. love doesn't hit. love doesn't lie. love doesn't have secreats. love doesn't yell. it looked like spousal abuse and even when they made up they still hit each other when they kissed.

i watched the live 8 concert on tv and was pretty pumped that ppl were doing good things to help end poverty. and then they showed Paris Hilton in the crowd and that killed it for me. i wonder if all the proformers and celebrates lived a "normal" life that that amount of money could be enough to end poverty??

i went to Britt's gave today. someone had left her flipflops and then some shells that were just like ones i brought back from BC. it was a all too much. i mowed a cemetary all last summer so i'm cool with it all, but what happened to Britt just isn't right. i know God's character and how good and loving He is so i honestly can't believe it comes from Him. death is a result of our sin.

sometimes i hate this world soo much!!! we weren't designed for this, we were designed for worshipping God in a beautiful garden. at the end of the day it is a good day because God is in me and He is soo good! This world is fucked up, but while i'm here i'm gonna rejoice cause this is the day the Lord has made!!!
