Cozy

so in an attempt to change things up i went to study at a coffee shop by my house. i got to sit on a really comfy chair right beside a fireplace and read my text... sadly i was pumped about it even thou it was a saturday night... ok maybe there's a few other things i'd rather be doing ;)...

anyway so as i sat there for many hours there were many different couples of ppl that came and went and of course you can't help but overhear some of their conversations or lack of it. that's my favourite part; the ending of coffee when ppl simply run out of things to say and then it's akward and they end up leaving... it makes me laugh cause i'm soo thankful that's not me. there was this one couple there who got the that point and they just sat there kinda looked at each other, sat close and read their newspaper. they were older and you could just tell that they loved each other. they were so content with being together. i love that, that's what i want. i hate that beginning part of relationships where you have to impress ppl i think that's crap!!

so the point of all this is that i think winter is all about being comfortable and cozy. not only under blankets reading a book, but spending time with the ones that you love. the pace of life slows down trees go dormant and we 'hibernate' into our cozy homes and enjoy each other. so here's to a great christmas break and many storm days.... oh i love storm days....
